Sorafenib 200mg belongs to antineoplastic group of medicines. It is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It inhibits small molecules like Raf kinase, VEGF 2 and 3 receptor kinases, platelet-derived growth factor, and C kit the stem cell factor receptor.
Sorafenib treats:
Liver and thyroid cancer, and advanced cancer of kidney.
Advanced hepatocellular carcinoma which is otherwise called primary liver cancer.
Metastatic radioactive to refractory iodine treatment – Thyroid carcinoma
Advanced Renal carcinoma
