Triptorelin Injection Extended Release Parenteral 3.75mg is sterile and has a milky appearance and a white to slightly yellow lyophilized cake.
It is a synthetic decapeptide agonist analog of gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) and contains pamoate salt of Triptorelin.

The extended release of the medicine is given once in twelve weeks to treat adjuvant treatment of radiotherapy, radical prostatectomy in high-risk patients, neo-adjuvant treatment before radiotherapy.
It is probably used to treat certain disorder of the uterus (endometriosis) and reduces the amount of estrogen produced in the body in women and stops early puberty in children.
